1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ember ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Ember ("we," "us," or "our").

Ember is a mobile application for iOS that allows users to track their menstrual cycle, log symptoms, monitor mood and energy, and view predictions and insights about their cycle. The App stores all data locally on the user's device.

6. Premium Subscriptions and Purchases

6.1 Pricing

6.2 Billing

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

6.3 Free Trial

We may offer free trial periods for Premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until that date.

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and content (excluding user-generated data), is the intellectual property of Ember and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the App if you violate these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
